QSP projects should be implemented in accordance with the project arrangements approved by the QSP Trust Fund Implementation Committee and established in the legal agreement. In order to assist project implementers in the implementation of projects and the compliance with reporting obligations to the SAICM secretariat, a guidance document for project implementers has been developed.

Applicants are further encouraged to consider how projects will integrate mainstreaming to their activities - strategic priority C. Guidance is available for stakeholders

In order to assist project implementers to arrange the required independent monitoring and evaluation of QSP trust fund projects, specific guidelines for Monitoring and Evaluation have been developed. These guidelines provide general information for the selection of the monitoring and evaluation arrangements, including model terms of reference and a suggested standard guidance and format for reporting to be used by third party evaluators.
