Addition of new activities to the Global Plan of Action on nanotechnologies and manufactured nanomaterials
Areas on which comments are sought:
A proposal for updating the Global Plan of Action by including activities relating to nanotechnology was submitted to the first meeting of the OEWG by the Government of Switzerland. The proposal is formatted in accordance with the existing Global Plan of Action of the Strategic Approach, and proposes the inclusion of a new work area on nanotechnologies and manufactured nanomaterials, with corresponding activities, actors, targets.
Specifically, comments are sought on the following:
1) editorial amendments to the wording on activities 4-6, 12-15, 21 and 22 in the column entitled “New activity” in the Swiss proposal
2) Comment on where the new activities should be included in the Global Plan of Action.
3) Clarify any remaining concerns on the other activities in the proposal
