| The main press briefing on the second session of the International Conference on Chemicals Management took place at the Conference venue, the Centre International de Conférences, Geneva, on Friday, 15 May 2009. The press briefing featured UNEP Executive Director Dr. Achim Steiner, the President of the second session of the International Conference on Chemicals Management, Dr. Ivan Eržen, BASF CEO Jürgen Hambrecht, and the Co-Chair of the International POPs Elimination Network, Dr. Mariann Lloyd-Smith. In addition, media representatives had the opportunity to engage with experts at the margins of the ICCM2 through briefings organized by the media advisor. |
