of the fifth meeting of the African Core Group meeting on SAICM
The African Core Group (ACG) held its fifth meeting in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, on 24 and 27 January 2010. The ACG meeting was organized by the SAICM secretariat, with funding support from the Government of Spain.
The ACG meeting served preparations for the full African regional meeting on SAICM held in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, on 28 and 29 January 2010 to develop resolutions and recommendations for the consideration of the regional meeting, to develop its workplan for the current intersessional period, to review regional priorities and the status of progress made in that regard, to consider a process for the revision of the African action plan, to review and prepare input to the Commission on Sustainable Development, to prepare input to the consultations on the strengthening of the health sector engagement, and to review and revise its terms of reference
